First Look at an ALL-NEW ALL-DIFFERENT Marvel (Post SECRET WARS)
Our favorite comic book bigwigs Marvel and DC are no strangers to rebooting and retooling their main lineup from time to time. While changing the volume number and resetting back to issue #1 seems like an easy enough method of organization and rebranding, things have been getting a little complicated over the past few years…especially for Marvel. Fist we got the “Marvel Now!” rebranding, followed a few years later with the “All-New Marvel Now!” rebranding, and now (after the impending SECRET WARS fallout) we are getting the “All-New All-Different Marvel” label moving forward. I understand the big marketing boys sitting at their round table want a fresh new name for their fresh new products, but come on…just change the damn volume number and reset at issue #1 already. Sure it lacks pizazz, but who the hell wants pizazz anyways?
That said, Marvel has dumped their solicitations for October and November entering uncharted post SECRET WARS territory. It’s actually a pretty exciting time to be reading Marvel and the landscape as a whole is changing a lot creating one unified universe for all the Marvel characters to frolic in together. Below I’ve compiled a few of my top picks along with a nifty list of all the (all) new (all-different) #1 titles announced separated by the month they will be released. Hold on to your butt.
OCTOBER 2015
Amazing Spider-Man #1-2

Holy cow that’s a lot of new #1 issues to look forward to! And keep in mind it’s not an all inclusive list just yet. Marvel’s December announcements have yet to come which I’m sure will include an UNCANNY X-MEN book and a DAREDEVIL book to name a few! Still bummed CYCLOPS got canceled. What a fun book. Well, that seems like more than enough of an information overload for now.
