TOOTH & CLAW Volume 1 is a Must-Read!

While I won’t go as far as saying it’s the new SAGA like I’ve heard around the water-cooler, I will say it is yet another brilliant book put out by Image Comics that continues the trend of it being the coolest publisher on the shelves today. Sure Marvel and DC have my little nerdy nostalgic heart, but as far as comics moving forward, pushing the limits, and being everything the creator wants it to be Image has no match!

I’ve been reading TOOTH & CLAW since the beginning (see I didn’t even call it THE AUTUMNLANDS) and it’s a wonderful story filled with mystery, intrigue, and an outstanding cast of bipedal animal creatures who can do magic! MAGIC! Kurt Busiek captivates each and every issue as the main plot moves forward in fun and unexpected ways while Benjamin Dewey hits a homer complimenting and heightening the story with each panel. Such a great team-up! Here’s a bit from Image:

This first volume collects the initial story arc spanning issues #1-6. If you are on the fence on this one and just don’t know if you can add another title to your pull list (Thanks SECRET WARS…), just do yourself a favor and pick up this highly affordable first volume and thank me later.
