Nate Simpson’s NONPLAYER #2 Arrives This Week!
If you are reading this and have not checked out Nate Simpson’s stunning NONPLAYER #1 yet you are out of your freaking mind. You’ve had 4 years to read this with 3 separate print runs over the years…not to mention that word around the cooler surrounding this book is nothing but praiseworthy. Damn, just writing this, I’m kicking myself for having the “Second Print” version of this book instead of the first…blast you comic buying gods! Either way, I own a copy, have read it over and over throughout the years, and have been waiting for the glorious day when issue #2 would arrive. Good news all, issue #2 of NONPLAYER arrives THIS WEEK! Get it (along with the third printing of #1 if you missed it) while it’s hot because I’m sure this one will sell fast. Issue #1
The future kind of sucks, and that goes double for Dana Stevens - she’s stuck in a dead-end tamale delivery job, and she’s way too old to be living with her mom. But in the online fantasy world of Jarvath, she’s an elite warrior. When she slays the wife of celebrity game character King Heremoth, her fame seems all but guaranteed - that is, until the game spins totally out of control.

THE SOLD-OUT SERIES RETURNS with a muchanticipated new chapter! Bent on avenging the death of his queen, game character King Heremoth seeks vengeance against Dana, an unwitting tamale delivery girl. Meanwhile, strange things are afoot in future Los Angeles as a police standoff at a fish market reveals a homicidal robot armed only with seafood.
Sounds pretty great to me! And if you have even glimpsed at the first issue of this book you know the long wait will be worth it for sure! Absolutely stunning artwork on display complimented by a fun story set in a vibrant world. As a fan, I’m just thankful issue #2 even exists.
