Mission: Comics Top Sellers of 2014 (Or Saga & more)

I’m a little late in posting this, but I wanted to share what the top selling books were here at Mission: Comics for 2014. It’s easy to tell how popular Saga is here in the shop, as well as Image Comics in general. Also notable is the excitement for Ms. Marvel, Lumberjanes and Bee and Puppycat! I think it speaks to both opportunity for comics that speak out to new audiences, and to the taste of customer here in San Francisco.

On the graphic novel side of things, Saga and image also dominated sales here for 2014. New 01 Second books also did very well here. DC’s “evergreen” titles also continue to sell well. What’s going to be really interesting in 2015 is how many of the best-selling Image trades will translate into sales for the volume 2’s.
