CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE Invades Store Shelves THIS Week!
Ah good old Captain America and his bosom buddy Bucky. An epic bromance that spans generations resulting in one of the greatest superhero stories in recent memory WINTER SOLDIER. Some even speculate the bromance could maybe be MORE than a bromance especially when dealing with infinite versions of the two characters in the current SECRET WARS event. Those tawdry little heroes! I say go for it boys!
SPIDER-MAN: BLUE, HULK: GRAY, DAREDEVIL: YELLOW and now CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE Continues Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale’s colored-themed adventures in the Marvel universe. Each mini-series before WHITE tackles an epic and transformative time in these superheroes lives and this new Cap and Bucky story seems no different.
From his re-awakening in the present day to his days on the battlefield during World War II, follow CAPTAIN AMERICA as he recalls a special mission during THE BIG ONE! Its 1941 and the HOWLING COMMANDOS are just looking to kick back and relax…. But CAP and BUCKY are about to make their night a whole lot worse!
Being a huge fan of WINTER SOLDIER, both the comic and movie, paired with the creative powerhouse of Loeb and Sale pretty much guarantees this new comic book’s success before it even hits the selves. And let’s be honest, we can all use a little break from the SECRET WARS onslaught (pun?) and get back to some classic Marvel storytelling that isn’t cramming time displacement, alternate realities, and multiple versions of each character down our collective throats.
Buckle up, because CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE invades store shelves this week and promises a shocking story with twists and turns for readers to ponder that may just challenge the way we look at these two iconic heroes.
