BLACK PANTHER: WORLD OF WAKANDA #1 Out This Week

Just remember, no matter how hard life gets, we will always have new comics to look forward to each Wednesday. 

Black Panther has always been an amazing character. And thanks to his arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the wildly popular ongoing series BLACK PANTHER from writer Ta-Nehisi Coates, we get to see a lot more of him. 

BLACK PANTHER: WORLD OF WARCRA….err WAKANDA #1 releases this week as a spin-off series of the aforementioned BLACK PANTHER BOOK. Marvel has a hit on their hands, of course this book is going to get a spin-off. And that’s just fine.

What happens when your nation needs your hearts and minds, but you already gave them to each other? Illustrated by industry veteran ALITHA E. MARTINEZ (Iron Man, Black Panther). And in a special backup story, acclaimed poet YONA HARVEY (Hemming the Water) explores the true origins of The People’s mysterious leader Zenzi. Black Panther thinks he knows who Zenzi is and how she got her powers, but he only knows part of the story. Illustrated by rising star AFUA RICHARDSON (Genius).

If you haven’t jumped into Coates’ BLACK PANTHER on-going yet, the first collected volume (issues #1-4) is on store shelves now so you can catch up easier. And BLACK PANTHER: WORLD OF WAKANDA #1 is available now! So take a break from life, and head to the comic shop.
