“CASABLANCA” meets “SYRIANA” in this graphic novel, drawing an international cast of characters toward a fateful rendezvous at Mike’s Place, a bar next to the American Embassy on the Tel Aviv beachfront in Israel. A suicide bombing attack by two British Nationals changes the characters’ destinies, engendering pathos, courage and rebirth. Music, humor and the underlying strength of the human spirit help the Mike’s Place Family overcome.

Based on a true story, stunning facts are revealed, linking the two British Nationals to Mohammad Sidique Khan, the mastermind of the 7/7 London Transit Attacks, who had traveled to Tel Aviv on Wednesday, February 19, 2003, stayed only one night and left the next day.

Nine weeks later, on April 30, 2003, Khan’s friends, Asif Hanif and Omar Khan Sharif, perpetrated the Mike’s Place bombing after midnight at the beginning of the same day The Roadmap Peace Plan was delivered to the Palestinians and Israelis.
