Superman and Wonder Woman Heat Things Up In JUSTICE LEAGUE #12

Longtime Superman fans were very displeased when DC announced that the relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane was being annulled once DC’s The New 52 relaunch happened. While it may break the norm and be a bummer to some, others may actually enjoy the fact that Supes is open for business and has his solar heat vision eyes set on Wonder Woman. Sounds hot.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we get a good look at the two in full embrace on the cover of JUSTICE LEAGUE #12 that is due out next Wednesday. If this isn’t proof enough of their new romantic avenue I don’t know what is. Let’s just hope old Supes isn’t just under the spell of some magical power or odd colored sharp of kryptonite. Fingers crossed. It’s also worth noting that while Supes and Wonder Woman have had slight romantic dabbles in the past, The New 52 JUSTICE LEAGUE writer Geoff Johns promises that “This is the new status quo.” and we should expect it to change a lot of the relationships and character dynamics in the new DC Universe.
