Robert Kirkman's New Series OUTCAST Plagues Comic Shelves This Week!
It’s no secret that writer Robert Kirkman is a bad ass. Seriously. He’s cool. He has breathed new life into the zombie-horror genre with THE WALKING DEAD comic book series and has even created one of my personal all-time favorite super hero comics in the form of INVINCIBLE. It astounds me that the man has stuck with those two huge franchises the whole way through. The man is committed. And if you have not read either of those books yet, get out to your local comic book shop (*cough* Mission: Comics & Art *cough*) and pick up one of the many affordable compilation books now!
That said, Mr. Kirkman is at it again with his new series OUTCAST with Image Comics featuring artwork by Paul Azaceta. Here’s the quick and dirty rundown courtesy of Image:

Everything in the above paragraph sounds great to me! I’m happy Kirkman is sticking with the horror genre here and mixing things up from zombies to demons. It will be exciting to see what avenues Kirkman goes down this one and I’m sure it will be a hit if his previous projects are any indication.
