New Arc Begins With STAR WARS #26 Featuring Yoda!

Since the STAR WARS canon reset after the Disney buyout we have experienced new films, a new TV show, games, novels, and yes comic books. I can’t really complain about any of it because it’s all been pretty great. Among the new stories being told, I can confidently tell you that Jason Aaron’s ongoing Marvel comic book simply titles STAR WARS has been one of the best. The main story takes place between A NEW HOPE and EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, but every once in awhile Luke reads passages from Obi-Wan’s journal taking us back in time witnessing key events. These “journal” issues are the best of the best and not to be missed.

After a handful of romps featuring Master Kenobi, STAR WARS #26 is doing something pretty bold. We will be traveling back in time before the events of THE PHANTOM MENACE following Jedi Master Yoda on adventure. This will officially be the furthest we’ve gone back in history within the new canon. Cool. 

With one of our rebel crew captured and imprisoned…we turn once more to the journals of Ben Kenobi…and a legendary adventure of Jedi Master…Yoda!

While previous “journal” issues have just been one-shot adventures, this new Yoda-centric story will serve as the next arc in the series spanning at least 4 issues. If you’ve never read any of these new-canon STAR WARS comics just yet, what are you waiting for? They’re wonderful!
