LOW Volume 2 Coming Soon

DEADLY CLASS. BLACK SCIENCE. LOW.

Wow, what a resume writer Rick Remender is building with his work over at Image Comics. Not to mention his past achievements including the insanely awesome FEAR AGENT, his epic run on UNCANNY X-MEN, and his completely underrated CAPTAIN AMERICA arc in Dimension Z. And that’s just naming a few that come to mind. The dude is a powerhouse in the comics industry at the moment and has recently left Marvel to pursue more of his “creator-owned” titles over at Image. While I adore his Marvel work, I think this is a good idea.

Considering all the amazing books Remender has put out, I think I have the most fun with LOW. It set billions of years in the future during a time where the Earth’s surface in inhospitable and the dwindling human race lives under the sea. The first volume consisting of the first five issues knocked my socks off with its gripping story, interesting characters, and the absolutely gorgeous artwork by Greg Tocchini that pulls you into this universe and never lets go. It was an achievement and a truly mesmerizing adventure.

Some good news for you. LOW Volume 2 hits store shelves in the very near future and it consists of issues #7-10 of this fantastic on-going series. And if you haven’t picked up the first volume yet, go do that RIGHT NOW. You’ll thank me later. Take a look at what we can expect from volume 2 when it lands in the shop.

Will Stel Caine rise from the depths to become first human in millennia to set foot on the surface of the Earth? Who is the relentless Minister of Thought on a quest to put an end to Stel’s attempt to restore the light to a dying world?

So there you have it folks, yet another amazing title out there for all you Remender fans to chew on…well not literally…don’t chew the book people.
