JUPITER’S CIRCLE Has Landed!

For those not keeping score at home, JUPITER’S CIRCLE is a prequel series for writer Mark Millar and artist Frank Quitely’s completely amazing JUPITER’S LEGACY series. This week marks the release of the first collected volume of JUPITER’S LEGACY that consists of every “Book One” issue you need in order to be completely caught up. So yeah, buy that this week because it’s worth every penny and then some. Millar crafts a fun and engrossing superhero filled universe dealing with the crumbling of a golden age featuring some astounding work by Quitely that’s worth the price of entry alone.

Conveniently, JUPITER’S CIRCLE #1 hits shelves this week bringing us back to the utopian age of heroes that we only got a glimpse of before. The story is based off a bunch of early concepts Millar and Quitely cooked up while creating LEGACY and is sure to flesh out a lot of the characters we didn’t get a lot of time with before. Possibly some dirty secrets as well!? Check out what’s in store with the official synopsis:

The most celebrated superheroes in mid-century America seem to have it all-fame, riches, adoration-but tensions simmer beneath the glossy surface, threatening to crack open the secrets behind their public AND private exploits. Since Book 2 of JUPITER’S LEGACY is likely a bit far off, CIRCLE will hopefully tide us over until Quitely’s hands heals from creating non-stop awesomeness.
