Is Captain Phasma Redeemable?
There’s no denying THE FORCE AWAKENS’ Captain Phasma makes a darn cool toy. Unfortunately, that’s about all she’s good for at the moment. It appears Disney and Marvel are looking to change our minds focusing quite a bit of energy on her leading up to December’s THE LAST JEDI. But can she be redeemed?
Besides a new novel, Captain Phasma has recently been featured in a 4-part comic book series showing us what happened to her after the events of THE FORCE AWAKENS. And overall, it’s a pretty solid read.

While I’m not convinced she’s quite the “fan-favorite” the above synopsis says she is, I’m eager to see how she performs in THE LAST JEDI. She’s going to have to really kick some butt to make up for how weak and pathetic she was in AWAKENS. That said, I have faith Disney will do right. The potential is definitely there.
You may be able to still nab the 4 single issues, but if you missed out, you can get the collected volume out this week. And I can guarantee this is the coolest version of Phasma we’ve seen so far. And it’s a good start on the path towards redemption.
