Image Delivers The Goods This Week With SAGA #37, LAZARUS #24, TOKYO GHOST #10, And More!
Whenever someone is curiously browsing the shop or asking me “so what’s good?”, I almost always lead them to a book by Image. We are in a golden age for the company and they are seemingly jamming out classic after classic. And this week is one of those weeks when we are reminded why Image is so great. Take a look at some of the offerings on shelves this week if you don’t believe me.
SAGA #37 / Written by Brian K. Vaughan, Art from Fiona Staples
NEW STORY ARC ‘THE WAR FOR PHANG,’ PART ONE SAGA is back with its most epic storyline yet, and to celebrate, FIONA STAPLES graces this issue with a gorgeous wraparound cover! Finally reunited with her ever-expanding family, Hazel travels to a war-torn comet that Wreath and Landfall have been battling over for ages. This arc is a self-contained 'event’ we’ve been building to since our very first issue, so now is the perfect time for readers who love SAGA’s bestselling collections to join our monthly adventures!

The world’s greatest superhuman is back. Hutch and the gang have tracked him down to a secret hide-out in northern Russia where the ageing super-villain has become a bitter loner. With Walter Sampson’s league of super-villains taking over the planet, can a world crisis haul this legend out of retirement, or must the gang face the bad guys alone?

And those are just the highlights from Image’s offerings this week. Not caught up on all these series’ just yet? Don’t fret, it’s real easy to catch up on an Image book because their TPB collections come out very quick and most Volume 1′s are only $9.99.
