Greg Rucka’s BLACK MAGICK #1 Lands Just in Time for Halloween!
It’s that time of year again! Time to celebrate the devil’s work by dressing up as your favorite character, rotting your teeth out with candy, and partying until the full moon comes up! And I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than dressing up as sexy Bruce Banner and stealing bags of candy from children after they’ve done all the work! Ok, I’m kidding, don’t do that. What you SHOULD do for sure to gear up for Halloween is get to your local comic book shop and pick up Greg Rucka (STAR WARS: SHATTERED EMPIRE) and Nicola Scott’s (EARTH 2) new Image book BLACK MAGICK that is best labeled as “Witch Noir” featuring a detective/witch that works homicide. Yeah, sounds cool to me too!

This absolutely looks like something worth picking up! And I had the chance to check out a preview copy of this title and not only does Rucka craft an engrossing and unique tale, but Nicola Scott crushes it with the art here! This book is stunningly beautiful in all the right ways. I double dog dare you (yeah, I went there) anyone to flip through this book and decide not to pick it up this week. Not possible. But be warned parents with lil’ trick or treaters, this book is not for the young.
