ARKHAM MANOR #1 Offers Something Different For Batman Fans!

If the recent release of on-going comics GRAYSON and GOTHAM ACADEMY haven’t completely itched your need for something new and refreshing at DC comics, then ARKHAM MANOR may just be what you are looking for. While details are pretty scarce at the moment on this title, DC has provided the following plot synopsis for fans to speculate over:

When catastrophe strikes Arkham Asylum, where will Gotham City house the world’s most dangerous criminals, and when inmates are found murdered, what is Batman prepared to do in search of justice? Arkham’s madness comes home in ARKHAM MANOR! A bold new series brought to you by the mad minds of Gerry Duggan (Deadpool, Nova) and Shawn Crystal (Deadpool, Wolverine and the X-Men).

Sounds pretty great! I imagine something going wrong with Arkham Asylum proper and good old Bruce Wayne offers up his huge homestead as a place to hold all the vigilantes until things get sorted out. Smart Bruce, smart. Good way to keep an eye on the worst of the worst and not have to travel great distances to settle things down as Batman. Hmm, while I can see some advantages to this for old Bats, It smells fishy (and not just because The Penguin is around…I think?). 

ARKAM MANOR #1 hits shelves this week and is planned as an on-going title which is pretty intriguing. Just how long are these baddies staying over? And you thought the in-laws visiting was bad! Heh..
